Prof. Dr. Riri Fitri Sari

Riri Fitri Sari (born 7 July 1970) is a Professor of Computer Engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (UI). She was the CIO / Head of Information System Development and Services of the University of Indonesia (2006-2014). In 1997, she received her MSc in Software Systems and Parallel Processing from the Department of Computer Science, University of Sheffield, UK, and subsequently a Ph.D.from Leeds University, UK (2004). She is currently actively teaching and researching in the field of Internet of Things, Computer Network, Protocol Engineering, and the implementation of Information and Communication Technology. Since 2010, she has been outstanding actively involved with University Ranking and has been the Chairperson of UI GreenMetric Ranking of World University  since then. The UI GreenMetric network is now supported by more than 912 universities from 84 countries.

Prof Dr. Zulkifli Yusop

Zulkifli Yusop is a Professor of Environmental Hydrology and currently serves as Dean of Resource Sustainability Research Alliance at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He was also the Dean of Water Research Alliance (Mac 2009-Jan 2015) and Director of the Institute of Environmental and Water Resources Management (IPASA) (Sep 2006-Feb 2009). He is one of the editors of Water Science and Technology (WST), a journal published by the International Water Association.  His major involvements include as Chairman of Public Awareness Committee of the Malaysian International Hydrological Program (MIHP), council member of Malaysian Water Association (MWA), group leader (Hydrology and Climate Change) of Asia Core Program under the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Secretary of the IWA’s Specialist Group on Appropriate Technologies for Developing Countries, and Co-Secretary of IWA’s Specialist group on Integrated Water Management. His present positions include as a board member of Selangor Water Management Council (LUAS), Special Topic Group Leader for Asian Network for Climate Change Science and Technology (ANCST), Chairman of the Working Group Committee on Flood and Sustainable Building for CREAM/CIDB, and panels of various research funds under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MoHEM) and Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). He received Eco-Frontier Fellowship Awards from the Ministry of Environment, Japan for three consecutive years (2003, 2004 and 2005). In 2012 Zulkifli was conferred Fellow Academy of Science Malaysia. In 2015 he was appointed as a consultant to UNESCO to assess climate change adaptation study in the South Pacific Islands. In 2015, he was appointed by MoHEM to lead a RM 20 million research grant on integrated flood study following the flood disaster in 2014. His current research focuses on non-point source pollution control, forest and plantation hydrology, and climate change impact on water resources.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Wing Thye Woo

Distinguished Professor

Woo Wing Thye is a Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of California in Davis, and Research Professor at Sunway University in Kuala Lumpur where he heads the Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia and Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development. He also holds academic appointments at Fudan University in Shanghai and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing. He is an expert on East Asian economies, particularly China, Indonesia, and Malaysia. His current research focuses on designing efficient, equitable pathways to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals with projects on Green Finance, Middle Income Trap, and Global Economic Architecture for the Multi-Polar World. Woo has been the convener of the Asian Economic Panel (AEP) since 2001, a forum of specialists on Asian economies which meets tri-annually and publishes the Asian Economic Papers, MIT Press (of which he is the Editor-in-Chief). He was President of the Chinese Economists Association of North America (CEANA) in 2002, and President of the Chinese Economists Society (CEA) in 2016. Woo is active in the East Asia Economic Association (serving as Director since 2015); the Chinese Economist Association (UK/Europe), serving as Editor of Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies since 2003; and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), serving as a Member of the Networks Strategy Council (governing board) and the Co-Chair of its Southeast Asian Leadership Council. University of California, Davis awarded Wing its Distinguished Scholarly Public Service Award in 2004 and appointed him Distinguished Professor in 2019; the Ministry of Education of China appointed him Chang Jiang Professor in 2006; the Governor of Penang conferred on him the title Dato’ in 2009, and the Thousand Talents Program of China appointed him a National Distinguished Expert in 2016. In 2020, The University of Cambodia awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in Sustainable Development and conferred on him Honorary Membership of the Board to Trustees.
